PHONE UNLOCK PROCEDURE
PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT ANY UNLOCK PROCESS. If you would like someone to talk you through this process, you can call:

- 3 Australia Customer Support on 133 320 if you are a 3 Australia customer
This procedure unlocks the handset from being network restricted to SIM cards from either Vodafone Australia or 3 Australia. In case of difficulties, please refer to the FAQ's listed below.
1) Take note of the unlocking code shown above.
2) Insert a non-Vodafone or non-Hutchison 3 Network SIM card into the device.
3) Ensure the device is charged and then switch the device on. It will display "Invalid SIM"
4) Establish a WiFi connection to the device with your PC.
5) Once connected to the device, open your Internet browser and enter the URL address http://192.168.1.1 or http://pocket.wifi
Optional Step: If the device displays a message Enter PIN, then you will need to enter the PIN number. (See FAQ below).
6) A Web page showing a pocketwifi dashboard will now appear. Please enter password "Admin" into the "Change your settings" section and select Log in. A new page will be displayed showing Managing Settings options.
7) Select Advanced Settings on the left column under Managed Settings. Click the SIM Settings icon and then select the Unlock Device icon. A new screen with Unlock Device page should now appear. Please enter the unlock code from above into the SIMLOCK Code section and select Apply.
8) It will display "The SIMLOCK has been unlocked" or it will take you back to the SIMLOCK menu. To confirm the unlock was successful you can insert a non-Vodafone or Non-Hutchison 3 SIM card and check that you can access the internet.
Please Note:
· If a wrong unlocking code is entered, the Web page will display "Failed to unlock the SIMLOCK". Wait for 3 seconds before you select Continue to return to the Unlock Device screen. The device will then show how many remaining attempts left for unlocking the device.
· If an incorrect unlocking code is entered 10 times the device will be locked permanently. Only the Vodafone and Hutchison 3 SIM card will work.

Question: My device asks to enter a PIN number
Answer: For SIM cards with PIN ENABLED you will be required to enter a PIN Number. By entering the URL address http://192.168.1.1 or http://pocket.wifi using Internet Explorer (Windows OS) or Safari (Mac OS) you will be redirected to http://192.168.1.1/pinboot.asp page with a heading SIM Card Status. Please enter the PIN code into the section "Please validate PIN code" and then select apply. (For information concerning the PIN, PIN2, PUK and PUK2 codes for a SIM card please read the manual that came with your device). The device will present another Web page showing Applying and Verifying the PIN Code successful. The device will start searching for the mobile network and register correctly. Click Continue after 3 seconds and the page will refresh to pockwifi dashboard web page. Next, proceed to Step 6 or Step 10 above to continue with the device unlock procedure.
