PHONE UNLOCK PROCEDURE
PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT ANY UNLOCK PROCESS. If you would like someone to talk you through this process, you can call:

This procedure unlocks the handset from being network restricted to SIM cards from either Vodafone Australia or 3 Australia. In case of difficulties, please refer to the FAQ's listed below.
1. Take note of the unlocking code shown above. This is the code provided above these instructions
2. Insert a SIM card from another non-Vodafone Australia and non-3 Australia provider. To enter your unlock code:
3. Turn on your phone.
Optional Step: If you are asked for your PIN number then enter your PIN number. This is not your unlocking code shown above. For more information please refer to your handset instruction manual.
a) Once the handset is powered up, the handset will then display "SIM network unlock PIN". To remove network lock, please enter the unlock code shown above these instructions using your keypad and select the "Unlock" key.
b) If the unlock code is correct, it will display "Network unlock successful." Your phone is now unlocked.
4. If a wrong unlock code is entered, the handset will display "unlock block request unsuccessful". Repeat step 3 and enter the correct unlock code. This code is shown above these instructions.
If the unlocking code is entered incorrectly 31 times the device will be blocked. At this point, the device will prompt the user to "SIMLOCK block unlock reset KEY". This phone is now blocked and will no longer work with any SIM card including Vodafone or Hutchison SIM. You will have to get the unblocking code in order to unblock the phone. FAQ:
Question: My phone asks me to enter a PIN number
Answer: For SIM cards with a PIN ENABLED you will be required to enter a PIN. This is not the unlocking code that has just been provided. For information concerning the PIN code for the SIM card, please read the manual that came with your phone.
Question: I am not currently in Australia and I can't unlock the phone that I purchased from a Vodafone Australia or 3 Australia outlet?
