PHONE UNLOCK PROCEDURE

PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT ANY UNLOCK PROCESS.

If you would like someone to talk you through this process, please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Support Team on 1300 301030.

This procedure unlocks a handset obtained from the Vodafone network in Australia and assumes the IMEI has been obtained by pressing *#06# into the device.

In case of difficulties, please refer to the FAQ's listed below:

1.          Take note of the unlocking code shown above. This is the 16 digit code above these instructions.

2.          Insert a SIM card issued by another network provider.

3.          To enter your unlock code:

                  a) Turn on your phone.

                  b) Optional Step: If the SIM card has a PIN enabled, enter your PIN number. (See FAQ below)..

c) Once the handset is powered up, the handset will then display "SIM network unlock PIN". To remove network lock, enter the unlock code in the prompted area (unlock PIN code is the one recorded in step 1) using the touch keypad. After entering the unlock PIN code, tap the "Unlock" key.

            d) The handset will then display "Requesting network unlock" followed by "Network unlocked" and the handset will be unlocked automatically.

After the handset has successfully started, you should now be able to make and receive calls with the Non-Vodafone Australia or 3 Australia SIM card. (You will need reception and phone credit with the different network provider)

Please Note:

If the incorrect unlocking code is entered, the handset will display "Requesting network unlock" followed by "Could not unlock network" and will revert to the SIM Lock screen.

Note: There are unlimited retries to unlock the handset.
